In this exploratory article, I would like to analyze some common themes that emerge in the philosophy of Enzo Paci and in the sociology of Pierre Bourdieu. The aim is to build a sort of bridge between two forms of social theory that have the merit of investigating in depth the ways of interpreting social reality implemented by the acting subjects. In methodological terms, I will use some parts of Paci’s Phenomenological Diary as a picklock to recall and reflect on Bourdieusian concepts.
