“Compostella” is the scientific journal of the Centro Italiano Studi Compostellani, an institution for research and study on subjects related to the pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela. It was founded in Perugia in 1982. The topics covered relate to the historical, literary, artistic, philosophical, legal, economic, sociological and anthropological aspects in which the Jacobean pilgrimage has manifested itself. At the same time, it is open to contributions on the culture and civilisation of the pilgrimage in general and travel literature.

 

Frequency

The journal “Compostella” is published annually.

 

Classification

The journal is included in the list of Area 10 scientific journals – valid for the purposes of the 1st four-year period ASN 2023-2025 – published on 16/11/2023 by ANVUR, the National Agency for the Evaluation of the University and Research System.

 

Rules for submission of articles

For the publication of articles, the journal follows all the evaluation, selection and correction standards required by the main international scientific journals.
